How far do you agree with Plato's objection to freedom of expression and artistic liberty enjoyed by creative writers? Name the text ( Novelz, plays , poems , movies , tv soaps etc and which can be rightfully objected and banned with reference to plato objections )   Plato's objection to freedom of expression stemmed from his concern that art and literature could have a negative influence on society, shaping the citizens' beliefs and behaviors. While understanding his perspective, it's important to note that modern societies generally value freedom of expression as a fundamental right. However, discussions about limitations on certain forms of expression exist, particularly when it comes to explicit content, hate speech, or materials that may incite violence. Deciding what should be objected to or banned involves complex considerations of societal norms and ethical principles. Plato's objections might be applied to works that promote falsehoods, undermine moral valu...

1) Angelica consider the financial negotiations that one makes before marring  a prospective bride the same as prostitution  . Do you agree.     the desire to do meaningful work might, poignantly, be the strongest urge a late eighteenth- to early nineteenth-century woman knew, propelling her into marriage with a man who could employ her skills. But this narrative altered because, starting in 1855, feminist activists popularized the idea that middle-class women suffered from being denied work. In Middlemarch , Can You Forgive Her ? , and The Clever Woman of the Family, heroines traverse the same plot: an inevitably doomed vocational marital future. This “suppressive hypothesis” made it impossible to depict a successful vocational marriage. The fantasies of female empowerment we saw in the neighbor plot had become unwriteable in the latter half of the century. Marriage had become a private, romantic dyad, inimical to the social orientation of familiar ma...

1)  What is the significance of epigraph written by hardy - 'Letter Killeth' - for this ,novel jude the obscure .      The epigraph "Letter killeth but the spirit giveth life" by Thomas Hardy in his novel Jude the Obscure holds significant meaning and reflects the themes explored in the book.    Firstly, the epigraph highlights the power of interpretation and the limitations of written communication. It suggests that the mere words in a letter or any written form can be destructive and lead to misunderstanding or harm. This idea resonates throughout the novel, as Jude and other characters often experience miscommunication and suffer the consequences brought about by the misinterpretation of letters or messages.    Furthermore, the epigraph implies that the true essence or spirit behind words holds greater significance than the words themselves. It suggests that a deeper understanding and connection can be found beyond the literal words written dow...
