About The Novel :

January 26, 2025

Today, I made the hardest decision of my life I let Aarti go. She’s going to marry Raghav, and though it hurts more than I can explain, I know it’s the right thing to do.

I’ve loved Aarti for as long as I can remember. She was my best friend, my support, and the one person who always felt like home. I thought someday she’d feel the same way about me, that I could be the one to make her happy. But life doesn’t work like that, does it? She loves Raghav, and I’ve realized no amount of effort or success on my part can change that.

At first, I was  angry at her, at Raghav, and at myself. I couldn’t understand why she’d choose him when I thought I could give her so much more. But now, I see that love isn’t about proving yourself or trying to win someone over. It’s about wanting the best for them, even if it’s not with you.

Letting her go feels like losing a part of myself. But at the same time, I feel a strange sense of peace. Maybe this is what love really means stepping aside when you know someone else can make them happier.

I don’t know what the future holds for me. Right now, everything feels empty, but I hope I’ll find my way. Maybe one day, I’ll look back at this and understand why it had to happen. For now, I just hope Aarti finds the happiness she’s looking for. That’s all that matters.
